Fargesia denudata

F. denudata has short branches and small leaves, which cause the gracefully arching canes to stand out individually. It does not have leaves that yellow and drop in the fall, making it a greener plant through the winter. Like other Fargesias, it is a clumping bamboo and is happy with some protection from hot afternoon sun. It is mostly suitable for areas that have cooling in nighttime hours.

Phyllostachys aureosulcata 'Alata'

Beautifully colored vibrantly green canes that have pronounced zigzagging kinks in the lower area of the cane. This is an upright bamboo with shiny, dark-green foliage that is hardy and suitable for a beautiful hedge. In the spring it produces a great number of very attractive and edible shoots.

Phyllostachys aureosulcata 'Spectabilis'

it has bright yellow culms with a green sulcus. It is the hardiest bamboo with yellow and green striped colour pattern. Spectabilis is vigorous and rather rare. Like the other forms of the species, this bamboo makes an excellent hedge or screen due to its fast, upright growth.

Phyllostachys dulcis

This beautiful bamboo is short in nature, but fat in diameter sometimes going over 3 inches
while being under 30 feet tall.  Also called "Sweetshoot Bamboo" because its shoots have a particularly good taste. Well know for its edible sweet shoots and beautiful arching canes. Many canes will have light yellow green striping effects making them
very unusual.

Jet black culms like the species, and like other black bamboo, their culms emerge green and then turn black in a while. The new culms sometimes turn black fairly quickly on our plants, but larger culms can take two or three years to darken.

Phyllostachys vivax 'Aureocaulis'

"Gold Vivax" is one of the most impressive, almost imposingly beautiful, giant hardy bamboos. It embodies the classic bamboo characteristics; immense size and vitality balanced by a graceful personality. It can potentially grow to an outstanding 65+ feet in height if given favorable conditions. The golden-coloured culms have occasional color variations: It has randomly occurring dark green stripes. Sometimes they emerge half gold and half green.

Phyllostachys vivax 'Huangwenzhu Inversa'

The culms are a brillant yellow with a green sulcus. An aggressive grower with thick culms. Another very beautiful timber bamboo. Also called "Kimmei Vivax". "Kimmei" is a Japanese word which loosely translated means "golden with a green sign". Kimmei is the perfect reflection for the golden culms with green striping.
